Hi, many of you know me as Ash. I am currently living in my hometown, which is a small town in the UK. As a trans person, many of the places and people here are not safe for me; I have to go back in the closet and go by my deadname for work, and even in my community I am on tenuous ground never knowing if someone is safe for me to be myself around. The home I live in holds a lot of trauma for me, and as a result I am constantly fighting poor mental health, on top of managing my disability that is made much more difficult by the physical work I have to do in the service industry. While queerphobic and transphobic attacks become worse in the UK, I no longer feel like I can maintain my own safety in this space where I am isolated.

I have been planning to try and get out and move back to a place where I have friends and community, but even with 3 jobs I barely earn enough to cover costs, let alone save enough money to start fresh. So, I need your help. This money will cover a deposit and first months rent for a new living space, as well as basic costs to get me set up with household necessities.
