My name is Annie. I’m a mother of two young twins, and I am in the process of leaving their father, my abusive husband.

We've been together since 2018, when I was 25 and he was 32. The kind, charming person I initially believed him to be turned out to be a front. As our relationship and eventual marriage went on, his behavior became more and more erratic, hostile, and dangerous.

Andrew has been unfaithful throughout our relationship, has posted intimate photos of me online, and has pressured me into unsafe and humiliating sexual scenarios.

I desperately want to protect our children and myself. I have filed for divorce, but ended our trial separation so as not to be away from our kids.

My laptop is at Andrew’s house, and I am unable to earn the small amount of income from freelance work that we had come to rely on. Any money donated will go to covering living expenses for me and my children, medical bills (I was recently discharged from the hospital for a kidney stone and subsequent invention). If possible, I would like to spend some of the money on trips to the zoo, museums, etc. with the kids to help provide them with a sense of normalcy and happiness as much as possible.
