For the past two years, I had the honor of serving as a foster parent for six children through a company that gave me the opportunity to live out my true passion: caring for children in need of love, stability, and guidance. From the very beginning, I made a decision to give my all to this calling. I sacrificed a good-paying job and even gave up my car so that I could be fully available to provide a safe and nurturing home for these children.

Every day was a blessing, whether it was helping with homework, offering encouragement through their struggles, or simply being a steady presence in their lives. It wasn’t always easy, but it was deeply rewarding. I poured my heart into being there for them because I truly believe that every child deserves someone who will stand by them, especially those in foster care who have already faced so many challenges.

Sadly, the company I worked for lost funding and was forced to let me go. This has left me in a very difficult situation. Without employment and without reliable transportation, it has become a struggle to move forward. I want nothing more than to continue serving my community and working hard, but without a car, I am unable to take the steps needed to provide for myself and regain stability.

That is why I am reaching out through this GoFundMe. My goal is to raise enough funds to purchase an affordable, reliable car, cover the cost of a rental, or put a down payment on a car so that I can begin driving for Lyft or Uber. This will give me the chance to start earning income again, regain my independence, and continue living out my passion of helping others.

I believe this is just a temporary setback and that with God’s grace and the generosity of kind-hearted people, I can overcome it. I trust that the Lord will inspire those who read my story to lend a hand, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others. Every single contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to getting back on the road, literally and figuratively.
