Donate to help a former prisoner in Egypt
Donation protected
Dear friends and community members,
We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping a young man who has faced unimaginable hardship in his life. Due to security reasons, we are unable to disclose his name or exact location. However, if there is ever a need for you to have that information, I will reach out to you privately and will ask you questions to make sure that it is used with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
This young man is a former prisoner who was imprisoned at a young age during a period of political turmoil in Egypt [The Arab Spring]. Despite his youth, he was subjected to inhumane conditions and severe, traumatizing abuse and was denied many of his basic rights even as a prisoner, including his right to education.
Today, he is living in a foreign country and is struggling to pay for basic necessities such as rent and food. We are asking for your support in helping him get back on his feet. Any amount that you can give, no matter how small, will make a difference in his life. Your donation will go towards helping him pay for his rent and food, as well as a lawyer, and any additional expenses he may incur.
We understand that these are difficult times for many of us, but we ask that you please consider making a donation to help this young man in his time of need. Your generosity will make a real difference in his life and will help him to move forward.
We ask that you please respect his privacy by keeping his name and location confidential.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
