Help a local family through a difficult time

On August 29th, Jason Pate passed away tragically at 48 years old. After going into the hospital for terrible pain in his hands and arms, it became one medical issue after the next for over 3 weeks, and finally being diagnosed with an extremely rare disease (Mönckebergs Sclerosis). After his family was told he could live another 6 months, he was gone only two weeks later.

Jason Pate, a lifelong Mentor resident, was the definition of a family man. He put his family and friends first and would do anything for them. Sadly, he is leaving behind his wife Nicole, and two children Sophia (8) and Colton (6).

Due to his previous medical conditions, he was unable to obtain life insurance. This makes an already difficult situation more challenging as Nicole has always been a stay-at-home mom. All donations will go directly to Jason's family in hopes of helping them navigate through this process.
