My name is Chaplain Marie Boyd. I would like you to meet a family that really needs our help. Dad is a hard working man with his own small landscaping service. He and his wife have 6 children. They range from 1-14. Mom takes care of kids and works part time A month ago The father was running errands, when he was carjacked. They shot him and stole his car. The father is now paralyzed from the waist down. He is still in the hospital. This mom is alone with with 6 kids, no car, not even car seats to take the children anywhere. I was able to find the cars seats by reaching out through our community . The mom is a very positive person and has continued to support her husband at the hospital while going home by bus to care for her children. Where we have provided food, and emotional support to this family , my goal is to purchase a car that will seat 7 people. Used is fine but i need to raise the $ for this. There will many challenges for this close knit family in the future. Medical bills, making there rental home handicapped accessible etc… Any donation will be used for those purposes.
