Hello, my name is Alan Cain, and I'm a pastor in Springfield, Ohio. I am raising money to help a friend who has been out of work for four months due to hip replacement surgery that ended up having multiple complications that kept her from working for four months! As you can imagine, that has been extremely difficult. The church, my wife and I, and some family and friends have been helping along the way, but we need a little more to overcome this last hump. She has begun work as of September but is in the negative in her accounts, so her first check will mostly cover that deficit while still having new bills.

So I'm asking those of you who know me and trust me to consider giving what you can to reach this goal of $5,000. If we all share some, we can easily change this woman's life right now in her need! I have never done one of these fundraisers before, and I try not to ask for money, but this is a legitimate need, and I'm hoping you can help.
