Hi, my name is Dr Prabath from Melbourne, Australia, and I am trying to raise money for this child in Sri Lanka who has a Thalassemia major from the age of five months and is required to have a monthly blood transfusion. She would spend the rest of her life in hospitals and would have an average lifespan of around forty years only unless she gets a bone marrow transplant. Can you imagine your child going through this and seeing the child getting deformed through bone deformity and watching helplessly? Can you imagine parental distress and tears seeing their beloved daughter going to the hospital monthly without no hope of ever getting a normal life ?

To make matters worse, bone marrow transplants are currently not done in Sri Lanka, so the child needs to go to India, and the initial quote has been over 50000 dollars, which the father can't afford with his salary.

Your generous donation will cure this child and give her the quality of life that she never had as she has spent every month in the hospital since she was five months
