Hi my name is Shakila and I am fundraising for a young lady that has been diagnosed with breast Cancer. I have recently come back from a trip in Pakistan. I discovered my cousins wife has breast cancer and has just recently started chemotherapy. She has 4 young children and and lives in very poor conditions. Her husband is the only earner and earns equivalent to £30 a month! As you can imagine it is hard enough to live on that amount with 4 children to care for let alone deal with a medical issue. Each round of chemotherapy costs £450 and that’s not including the travel costs to get to the hospital and any further tests and medication. They are in a very difficult situation. The first round of chemotherapy was funded by the local village with everyone helping out but that was a one off as they themselves are not in great financial positions. I would like to reach out to all my brothers and sisters to please help in this great cause. With Ramadan approaching many of you will be giving your Sadqa or Zakat and this would be a great cause to donate to. I have put a target of £2000 but in reality they will need a lot more depending on the treatment that she requires. I am praying and hoping that by Allahs will I exceed the target and am to provide as much help as I can. Unfortunately I can not upload any pictures as I do not have permission but having seen their living situation and struggle with money first hand I can reassure you that your donations will be going to a good cause.
