Hi my name is Aixa Quijano Pales, I am the proud and blessed wife of Michael Ruiz Nazario my husband and my angel.

Three years ago he was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, a condition that progressed quickly and as a result changed his life and required a referral for a lung transplant program.

On November 2021 we left our island Puerto Rico and arrived to Northwestern Hospital in Illinois for his evaluation. We faced many challenges, but we were blessed with the news on February 2, 2022. My angel Michael was placed on the United Network for Organ Sharing’s (UNOS) lung transplant list.

In the early hours on March 22, 2022 we got the awaited call, that will change and blessed his life!

One angel who left this earth left us a special gift, his beautifull and healthy right lung, and on that same day in the afternoon Michael received this blessed gift.

Our jurney continues, despite he is doing well we are facing many challenges, we humbly ask if you can be a part of Michael's miracle jurney with your help.
