Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read about my son Jacob`s journey.

As some of you may know and some of you do not know he had an operation on his heart yesterday (12/11/2025) at Leicester Royal Infirmary and everything went perfectly. He was born in 2023 with a small heart condition which meant that one side of his heart was not doing everything it should.

The operation yesterday has now sealed a duct in his heart meaning his heart will now be doing everything it should.

While we were in hospital over three days the lovely nurses, doctors and staff gave Jacob the best care possible and myself and my wife Kira cannot thank them enough.

We had a visit from the Heart Link Children's Charity and they gave Jacob some small gifts while he was staying in the hospital which he loved. They do this for all the children. There are some very ill children on the ward and some children have been there for a long period of time. We were made aware that some children spend multiple birthdays in hospital recovering.

I would love to be able to give something back to this amazing charity for what they have done for my son.
