Hello everyone,

We are in need of a lot of help with rent, gas, and food. My 16-year-old daughter gave birth on Friday, 10/24/25, unexpectedly. No one knew, not even her, that she was pregnant. Anyways, she had her in my bathroom in my basement. My wonderful daughter, who was staying the night, pulled the baby out of the toilet. She started rubbing her chest to get her to breathe. When she started to breathe, she put her down and called me. I got up and ran downstairs to see the baby on the floor and my 16-year-old on the floor as well, nodding off. I picked up the baby and started making sure to keep her breathing while at the same time telling my daughter to stay awake. I told my other daughter to go get my boyfriend and call 911. She ran upstairs, told him there is a baby, and to call 911. He jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see for himself before calling. Fire and rescue showed up, cut the cord, and took both baby and my daughter (in separate ambulances) to Parkview. When they got to the hospital, my daughter was getting cleaned up, and so was the baby in the NICU. The doctor came in and told us they are flying the baby to Children’s Hospital in Colo. Springs. My daughter is doing really good. She was sent home that night to go to Springs with the baby. We decided to name the baby Hazel May Baca. She weighed 3.05 lbs and is 15.9 inches long. She is still in Colo. Springs at Children’s and probably will be there until the end of Dec to early Jan. Anything will help us out due to loss of work to travel back and forth to Springs. Funds will be used to help with food gas to get back and forth to springs and whatever left for rent
