Hello,

My name is Hayven and I am a mother of 3 beautiful children: One who is going to be 5 this month, one who is going to be 4 this month and is on the Autism Spectrum (level 3 non-verbal) and a 3 week old. In April we moved into a new apartment, which we applied for based on my work situation at the time. Since that time I had to leave my place of employment due to needing an excessive amount of time off for complications during my pregnancy, needing to care for my son with ASD when he was unable to attend school/daycare due to behaviors related to his ASD and my own disabilities. Unfortunately I did not qualify for any kind of leave and had used all of my paid/unpaid time, so I felt like this was my only option to avoid being fired and that going on my employment history. My partner does have a job, but is currently looking for a 2nd job or one that has better pay/hours/location and unfortunately his pay does not cover the bills.

Since that time we have squeaked by with help, while I looked for something legitimate to do from home. We knew that we wouldn't be able to make July's rent and have been contacting every agency and church suggested or that we found. Unfortunately in many cases funding has either been pulled or have run out and others I haven't been able to qualify for. We just received a 5 day notice today and I'm sick to my stomach. I'm doing my best to keep a roof over our heads, but I need more time. I'm hoping to be able to raise enough to help cover July's rent, but if we were to get enough from both July and Aug that would give me more time to hopefully find something while caring for my newborn, my boys and myself.

Asking for help is not easy and I do this knowing that there will be judgement. I'm just hoping that I can buy us some time. I just don't know where to turn right now.
