I'm Harry.

I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in October 2024. I had surgery to remove the tumor in November, where a third of my tongue was removed in addition to all the lymph nodes on my left side. Muscle tissue and nerves were also removed. Chemotherapy and radiation began at the start of January.

Losing the ability to eat, taste, swallow, or even talk has been the most difficult to deal with. That and the bills. They never end.

When all is said and done, I'll have a long road to recovery. Learning to talk and eat again and hopefully enjoy the taste of food are my goals.
