The Salisbury Good Samaritan: Help Us Support a Local Hero
On the night of October 26, 2025, my brother Harry Glass was driving home from dinner when he saw a Salisbury Police Officer in serious trouble. Without hesitation, Harry pulled over to help.
The officer was struggling to subdue a suspect who quickly became violent. In the chaos, the suspect pulled a knife — and both the officer and Harry were injured while trying to bring the attacker under control. It ultimately took three people to stop the suspect.
Harry suffered severe cuts to his hand, requiring surgery to repair multiple tendons. He’ll be unable to use his hand for several weeks and will need ongoing physical therapy to regain full strength and mobility.
Thankfully, both he and the officer are recovering, and the Chief of Police personally told Harry that his quick action likely saved the officer’s life.
True to his nature, Harry has tried to stay out of the spotlight. He didn’t do this for attention — he did it because it was the right thing to do. But while his courage helped save a life, it’s come at a real financial cost.
We’re asking our community to come together and help support this local hero — someone who risked everything to protect another person without a second thought.
If you can, please consider donating to help Harry recover without the burden of financial stress. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Let’s show Harry the same kindness and support he showed that night — and remind him that good deeds never go unnoticed.
Thank you for your generosity and for standing with a true Good Samaritan.
