My name is Christy Jones South. Many of you know my daughter, Haley Wilson Parrish. She is a single mom with 2 amazing daughters, 5 & 6 years old.

Friday, March 21st, Haley had a grand mal seizure while at home alone with her girls. Thankfully, the girls were taught how to call 911 from a locked cell phone. Haley was rushed to NAMC, and they began a 5-day journey of attempting to stop her seizures. They have not been successful. They have reached the max amount of seizure meds they can give her and are currently trying to get her transferred to a hospital with an epilepsy center for a higher level of care.

At this time, we have no idea how long this journey will last, or what the future holds. She is unable to work at this time. Even if they do get her seizures to stop, her driving privileges have been revoked, she is unable to do anything that could be dangerous if she starts seizing, and she is unable to be left alone. It’s highly doubtful she will be able to return to her job as a waitress anytime soon.

She has no insurance, has fought for 3 years in an attempt to get child support for her children, with no answers & mounting debt she really feels defeated right now. In spite of all this, her only concern has been her children & getting back home to them. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated.
