Hi, I’m Amylique, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support to cover my dog Haku’s emergency hospital bills. Haku, my loyal and loving companion, recently faced a life-threatening crisis that left me terrified I might lose him forever.
A few days ago, I rushed Haku to the emergency vet when he became critically ill. His temperature had spiked to a dangerous 108°F, and the veterinarian warned me that organ and brain damage were a real risk. They even discussed euthanasia as a merciful option. It was the hardest moment of my life, but I couldn’t give up on Haku. The team worked tirelessly to stabilize him, and miraculously, his organ tests came back clear. However, Haku tested positive for amphetamine/methamphetamine toxicity, which caused neurological issues and required a three-day hospital stay to save his life.
Thanks to the incredible care at the emergency hospital, Haku is now on the road to recovery, but the medical bills have piled up, and I’m struggling to cover the costs. This is where I need your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Haku’s hospital bills and ongoing care. If you can’t donate, please share this page with your friends, family, and community to help spread the word.
Haku’s ordeal has opened my eyes to the dangers of toxic substances that can harm our pets. I’m launching an awareness campaign to urge everyone to be vigilant. Everyday items, including certain medications, household chemicals, or even discarded substances, can be deadly to animals. Please take a moment to:
• Secure medications and chemicals in locked cabinets or high shelves.
• Check your surroundings for anything harmful, especially in public spaces where pets might encounter dangerous substances.
• Spread the word about pet safety to prevent tragedies like Haku’s.
Your support—whether through a donation, sharing this campaign, or helping raise awareness—means the world to Haku and me. Together, we can help him fully recover and protect other pets from similar dangers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Amylique & Haku
