UPDATE....Dialysis #94
We have 12 more treatments, 12 more trips back and forth to sit in a chair, hooked to a machine for 4 long hours.
25 more days of sponge baths, washing hair in the kitchen sink and a ridiculously strict diet..
We are so close
But sitting in dialysis looking at all the other kids that are going through the same thing makes us sad. We have seen kids come and go from dialysis since we started, some got transplants and some only needed dialysis for a little while. Some don’t have a match, or their parents/relatives aren’t eligible to donate for health reasons. Some are waiting on the list for ever bc the have a blood type that doesn’t come up often. I wish I could help every one of them get a kidney.

If you would like to help us please donate here on gofund.me .The money you give go's directly into a account made just for her needs.. We thank you all for caring and show love to our family. We couldn't make all this happen for Hadyn with out the help from you .
THE BIG UPDATE.......WE GOT A DATE!! Hadyn will get her kidney on march 21 ,2025 unless something changes! thank you for all the prayers! yall don’t know how much it means to us! Thank you Jesus ❣️
Now we have a month to raise the money this family needs for transplant.. Both mom and dad will be missing alot more

work . They sure could use a little help.
UPDATE ..... THEY HAVE BEEN APROVED FOR TRANSPLANT!❣️ Amanda (mom)will be giving Hadyn (daughter) a kidney We are waiting on a date to be set for TRANSPLANT We are so excited! Thank you Jesus for all you are doing for us!
Up date....Dialysis #90
Today is a big day! We would really appreciate if everyone would whisper a little prayer for Hadyn I have been approved through UAB to give her one of my kidneys as long as her surgeon at Childrens approves!! I have bilateral double renal arteries, which makes the surgery a little more complicated. Her surgeon has ordered an ultrasound to get a better idea of what he’s working with and to help him make his decision. The team has weekly conferences on Fridays to decide what happens next for each patient.. so please pray we get good news and a surgery date today! If they approve me, Hadyn can have her transplant as soon as 3 weeks from today!

UPDATE ...... We are waiting for a few phone calls to come in.. Please pray for her . We may have great news very soon .. God is good all day every day it's in his hands .

Update ... .well they got a call from the transplant team . They are wanting more test from Amanda (mom) before moving forward to transplant. Please keep our family in prayer. GOD is in control . We are staying strong and faithful ❤️
Up date ....Dialysis # 76
Hadyn brought Loretta to dialysis today!

Update... Hadyn is doing good still having to go 3 times a week to UAB . We are just waiting on the last of the testing results to come in. It's like watching a clock waiting and waiting. Any day now we should know who and when she will get her new kidney.. Her mom should give us a Update soon . I will post it

as soon as she does. We had a beautiful Christmas even though Hadyn didn't get the gift she really wanted. But it's coming soon ♥️ Happy New Year
...#64 dialysis
Hadyn is in a great mood today bc aunt Mandy got to come with us to treatment!
We are still waiting on a few test results for kidney transplant.. Hadyn had to have a blood transfusion in November so we have to redo a few tests after 30 days to make sure nothing changed due to that. We still don’t know which of us will give the kidney but we are both very healthy according to UAB! Hopefully we will know more soon! We are praying real hard to have this girl a new kidney by the end of January!

Update... This Tuesday we are praying will be the last of the testing for Mom &Dad . We hope to find out who will be the donor and who will be the loving caregiver . Please keep praying for this beautiful family. Miss Hadyn is so ready to receive her new kidney. Most of all to eat & drink like a normal teenager again Donations are still very needed this family has a long way to go to get though this transplant. So if you can give Please do and share her story so others can see it too. Please and Thank God bless you all.

Christmas gets closer its the time of the year to give from your Heart. This beautiful granddaughter of mine is awaiting her 2 gift of life. Praying it will come for Christmas or close after. If your heart wants to help please do . Every penny go's to helping her family get though this kidney transplant. GOD IS IN CONTROL ❣️ If you can give $5.00 or $100.00 it all helps, it all matters. We need your help . The blessings to family has come from strangers, close friends and a few family members.♥️ We appreciate each and everyone of you. God bless you all for helping Miss Hadyn.
Update......We had the longest day ever but testing is done!! We may have a few little things to do later but nothing like today!
We walked all over that hospital all day! And they let Hadyn come with us for almost all of it! They normally don’t let the recipient tag along!
So far we have only gotten good reports! The team said we are healthy and should be fine to give up a kidney with no complications. They will get the rest of our results by the end of the week, hopefully nothing will show up that causes any concern! The transplant team has meetings every Wednesday to discuss upcoming transplants and they will all decide which kidney is the best for her. If we are both good options they will let us decide who goes this time and who will give her one the next time.

Please donate if you can Transplant is getting closer we need as much support as we can get. To help them get though a few months of recovery. The 3 things she needs right now 1.Prayer
2. A new kidney
3. Donations
Thank you All for your Support and love ❤️

Update.... #53 dialysis and FINAL DONOR TESTING!
Hopefully tomorrow we will get the last bit of our testing done! We have a full day of labs, CT, EKG, a class, psych evaluation and whatever else they need, from 7a-4p at UAB while hadyn does dialysis from 1p-5p at children’s. If everything goes well, we will have this girl a kidney by mid January! We can not wait for her to feel better and be healthy again
Also, Hadyn was able to swap her days from Wednesday to Tuesday so she can go back to church starting this week!
We are getting closer and closer to the end! Hadyns Dad Brandon asked Hadyn "what would you like for Christmas?" Hadyn's answer was A New Kidney Dad.
Update ... Miss Hadyn has been doing much better this week on her treatments . The long trips to Birmingham are very tiresome. We are waiting for November 19th to get here . That's the big day of testing for her mom and dad . Please pray they are healthy and able to give Hadyn her new kidney. We have done fundraising for her but we haven't reached our goal . This family will need funds to pay bills , food, and to continue to go back and forth to Birmingham after transplant. Both mom and dad will be out of work for weeks. So if you feel you can help please do . It's going to a good family. Please share this to help .

Update...#45
This girl right here is something else.. y’all please say a little prayer for her
Wednesday she didn’t feel well during dialysis and we had to end her treatment early due to her blood pressure being so low and getting sick.
Thursday morning she still felt bad and was very weak but by that evening she felt a little better. She begged me to let her go trick or treating and promised me that she was fine. I was hesitant bc she was so weak but I let her go..
This morning I got her up to get ready for dialysis and she was worse. She was extremely pale, very weak and dizzy. She tried to get a shower but couldn’t bc her bp dropped to 64/43 hr 145. We rushed to Birmingham but as soon as we got here she said she was fine. Even joking and laughing with her nurses! She didn’t want to complain to the doctor bc she doesn’t want to be admitted. Luckily, Friday’s are lab days…
She is currently getting a blood transfusion (2 units) during a very long dialysis treatment and we are waiting for every test they could think of to result. As long as everything goes as planned her doctor promised she wouldn’t have to staybut her blood count dropped by half in a week and we don’t know where it went. I don’t even know how she was able to trick or treat last night with a hemoglobin of 3.6!?

Update...#44
Dialysis is getting harder and harder, we can’t wait to finish our testing and set a date for transplant. Hadyn’s blood pressure drops drastically at almost every treatment now. She gets sick and dizzy every time. She’s losing all the weight she was finally able to gain back. We are so ready for her to be healthy and feel good again. November 19th can’t get here soon enough.

Up date ... Hadyn is doing well as can be. She's tired of the long trips to UAB children's. Her mom &dad are beginning the 2nd round of testing for health and mental health to be a living organ donor. We are praying she can get her new kidney before Thanksgiving. So please keep her in your prayers. Hadyn is looking forward to eating turkey dressing and pumpkin pie . Her diet right now won't let her have anything like that. She's only aloud 32oz of liquid in 24 hours. She cant wait for it to be over.. Thank you to everyone that's supporting and following her story ❤️.
Update...#34
No new news really. We have to do some more testing Wednesday and wait two more weeks for those results. Everything seems to be in slow motion with her transplant.
But dialysis isn’t so bad when you bring a friend

2nd update today. We got to talk to a nephrologist! He said he thinks her dry weight is around 35kg by looking at her previous weights, blood pressures and how she looks and feels today.
Today she weighed 40.2kg. That means she has over 11 pounds of extra fluid on her, maybe more. He recommended doing 3-5 days of dialysis in a row to get her where she needs to be or we can crank her up on the 3 days a week and try to get as much as possible. They have to be careful when they challenge her like that bc it could drop her blood pressure and make her very sick. I let her decide what to do and she chose option 2.
She is on dialysis now, running way over her max. They gave her some Benadryl and she is resting. She has 2 wonderful nurses watching her very closely to make sure everything is fine. Now let’s pray they can take a good bit off and make her feel better

Update .....Dialysis #27
Hadyn is miserable. She’s swollen and her face is so puffy. She can’t eat or drink much at all between bc they can only pull so much off each time. They still haven’t found her true “dry weight” yet but she is up 8 pounds from what they thought was close to it. Dialysis is not the same as having healthy kidneys. She was feeling so much better and now she is back to when we got admitted. Hadyn actually asked me to bring her to the hospital last night and if you know her at all, you will know that is rare. I know it will get better but it’s so hard seeing her like this. If I could, I’d give her my kidney today.
There are so many people having to live like this. A lot of them won’t live long enough to get a kidney transplant.

UPDATE ....Just a little update on Miss Hadyn… she still hates the long ride but she’s doing better than expected! Dialysis is doing really good for her! Her numbers look great and she’s got so much energy now! Her nephrologist is weaning her off some of the rejections meds hoping it will bring her blood counts up and she won’t need anymore transfusions. That means she’s taking a pretty big dose of prednisone right now.. luckily it doesn’t make her moody! It does make her want to eat all the foods she can’t have though! She is doing a lot better with her diet too. She’s learning what she can and can’t have and she’s actually eating while I’m a work now! The fluid restriction is still hard for her, she’s always had to drink a lot of water for her transplant, now she’s only allowed 32 ounces a day max. We are still waiting on results from UAB. We should find out more by next week and hopefully move on to the next part of testing! .. We are so excited today Hadyn's mom and dad was able to start testing to give Hadyn a kidney. It will take 2 weeks for the answer. We will be on pins & niddles waiting. The Doctors said Hadyns doing Great on dialysis. We are praying for a transplant by Christmas ❤️ Please continue praying for Her and Her parents. Thank you all for your help . Your donations are a huge help. Thank you
Update...Dialysis trip #21
She’s over it.
In the last 6 weeks we have gone back and forth to Birmingham 21 times. We’ve spent 147 hours, almost 10,000 miles, in this car and Hadyn is absolutely sick of car rides. But she is so much better than she was 6 weeks ago.

Update.... miss Hadyn wants to say THANK YOU to all of you for your help and prayers it means alot to her and her family ❤️

Update .......Miss Hadyn is doing good on dialysis . Shes doing great on her very limited diet. Shes only 80lbs and 4'3 tall her tiny 16year old boby cant afford to lose weight, but in order to keep her healthy and the fuild off her . She has tobe on a very strict diet. A diet No teenager would enjoy ,but shes a tough young lady The long trips to UAB are taking a toll on her and her family , but together they're
strong . With your help for gas ,food and missing work is helping them get though is much easier.

Update.Hadyn has gone through this once as a baby . Now as a teenager she is going through it again. Your donations will go far to help this family. The strain on a family is huge in times like this ,but because of you wonderful people it will be a lot easier thank you so much for the loving gifts. Here are some pictures of Hadyn's story .

THANK YOU ALL for the support and help. God bless you

Hi, I'm Mimi. My granddaughter Hayden is 16 years old. At age 6 months old, Hayden had to have her kidneys removed and she was placed on dialysis. At 18 months old, I gave Hayden my right kidney. That was the best thing I've ever done in my life, besides giving birth to my children. I am her biological grandmother. On Hayden's 16th birthday this year, that kidney failed her. You see, they damaged my kidney placing it into her tiny body. That happens sometimes; the doctors do their best. God's blessed her for 14 years at 33% kidney function. Now it's time for a new kidney.
Hayden has to go 4 hours away for dialysis to UAB children's hospital 3 times a week until transplant. We are praying it could happen this year, but only God knows. Her mother takes her to UAB 3 times a week for a long 13-hour day, and works three ten-hour days a week to keep her healthy insurance. Hayden is a beautiful, bright, and talented young lady. She loves drawing, music, horses, and her family. Even though she's a very sick child, she is an honor roll student. She loves to learn.
I'm raising funds to help my kids get through these tough times. Finances should be the last thing a parent needs to worry about when their child has a life-threatening illness. If you can help, please do. Your help will go a long way. Big or small, every penny helps this family stay strong together. God blesses to all. Thank you from the bottom of this Mimi's heart.
