Meet Panda! - A Brave Little Fighter

Sweet Panda came into the rescue in June with with his littermates and gentle Momma Clair. Like any puppy, he was full of love, curiosity, and playfulness.

But one heartbreaking day, little Panda let out a cry no one could ignore… Rushed to the vet, we learned his tiny arm (ulna & radius) were broken. Our amazing orthopedic team quickly stepped in to perform an extensive surgery, where they were able to place a bone plate in. Thankfully the break wont effect his growth plates! Now Panda wears a cast as he begins his healing journey.

Panda is strong, but he can’t do this alone. His extensive surgery and aftercare come with a hefty price — and that’s where our incredible community comes in.
