Tax deductible
GrandSlam Baseball was founded in the summer of 2002 by 3 friends who wanted to train their kids in baseball. By the end of the summer, the number of kids grew to 80, and the following year it doubled to 160 kids and continued to grow. Then, in the winter of 2005, GrandSlam became a non-profit organization 501(c)(3), and they adapted the concept of book reading because our community was not used to it. From there, many young men and women have gone to college on scholarships, giving strength to our community because reading was now being passed down to their children.
One of the founders, Ramon Brito, continued pouring his heart into the program and for 20 plus years, he still continues changing lives in our community. The program is in need of funding, equipment, and books to keep developing student athletes.
Your donation will help capture more growth in our communities of Hyattsville / Beltsville, MD. The donation is tax-deductible. Help us help more youths.
We also help hundreds of children in the Dominican Republic with sporting goods, clothing, food, and books.
We are in need of an indoor facility for the winter and bad weather. I want to thank you in advance for your contribution.
