Donate to Give Theo a Fighting Chance

Hi, my name is Nicole, and I'm asking for help for our dog Theo — my best friend, my emotional support, and the one connection I still have to someone I loved deeply.

Theo is a Frenchie–mini Pit mix with the gentlest soul. He was a gift from my fiancé, Allan, who tragically passed away in January 2023. Since then, Theo has been more than just a dog — he’s been a lifeline for me and my four children, who have all been grieving the loss of Allan.

Through every hard day, Theo has been there — comforting us, protecting us, and bringing joy back into our lives. He’s the one constant support we’ve all had while trying to heal.

Theo is only 4 years old. His birthday is October 12th, just one day before mine — something that’s always made our bond feel even more special. He’ll be turning 5 this year, and all we want is for him to be here to celebrate that milestone with us, healthy and happy.
If you’ve ever met Theo, you know how unforgettable he is.

He snorts like a pig, growls like a tiny dinosaur, and honestly — he kind of looks like Stitch from Lilo & Stitch or maybe even a little wombat. But behind that silly little face is the most amazing, loving, and loyal dog you’ll ever meet. He brings happiness wherever he goes, and everyone who meets him falls in love.

But now, Theo needs help — and fast.
He’s facing two critical medical conditions:
· Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) – making it extremely hard for him to breathe and putting him at high risk under anesthesia.
· Bladder stones that have become life-threatening, causing dangerous urinary blockage and an enlarged prostate, which is making things worse.

The heartbreaking part is that the vets can’t treat the bladder stones until his airway is surgically corrected, because he’s at such high risk. But the bladder stones can’t wait — they’re already causing severe pain and risk of total blockage, which could be fatal without surgery.

Earlier this year, we also lost Allan’s cat. I can’t begin to describe how much it would hurt to lose Theo too — especially for my children, who see him as family and as a piece of Allans love.
I’m doing everything I can, but after 2 surgeries I had myself causing me to be out of work for 6 months and just recently going back the cost of these urgent surgeries is more than I can handle on my own. That’s why I’m asking — from the bottom of my heart — for your support.

Your donation will go directly to:
· BOAS airway surgery to help Theo breathe and survive anesthesia
· Bladder stone removal surgery to relieve his pain and prevent life-threatening blockage
· Medications, anesthesia, and post-op care
If you’re able to donate — no matter the amount — it would mean the world to our family.

If you can’t donate, please share this with your friends, family, or community. Every share helps us get one step closer to saving Theo.

Theo deserves the chance to keep being the loving, loyal pup that he is — and to stay with the family who loves him so deeply.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and for any support you can offer.
With love and hope,

Nicole and Family
