Help a Single Mom and Her Two Children Secure Safe Housing

Hello, my name is Shante Hinton, and I’m a single mom to two amazing children who are living with severe hemophilia A. Life has been an uphill battle, but my kids are my inspiration, and every day I strive to do my best for them.

Right now, my children and I are homeless. We’ve been moving from house to house, relying on the kindness of others for shelter, and depending on food pantries to get by. Due to my children’s medical needs, maintaining a steady job has been incredibly challenging, but my faith and love for my kids keep me going.

A few months ago, I was blessed to receive a Section 8 voucher, which has been a life-changing opportunity for us. For the first time in a long while, I feel hope knowing we’ll soon have a stable place to call home. However, one final hurdle stands in our way: the security deposit. Without it, we cannot move into our new home.
