From a Tent to a Safe Home – Help Mohammed and His Family in Gaza

Hello,

My name is Mohammed Shamlakh, a young man from northern Gaza. I write these words from a place of deep pain and hardship, hoping it reaches your kind hearts.

I used to live with my family in a modest home in northern Gaza. But during the latest war, our home was completely destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. Since then, we have been living in a tent — exposed to the burning summer heat and harsh winter cold. When the area becomes unsafe, we move to a rented house that we can’t afford, just trying to survive.

We are a family of 8. My brother Ahmad is currently stranded in Egypt and unable to return due to the dire situation and border closures. I’m a married young man, dreaming of a dignified life for my wife and family — but every day becomes more difficult as we face the uncertainty of this war.

I started this campaign not just to rebuild our home, but to give my family a chance at a new beginning and a better future. Our goal is to raise $100,000, which will help:
