Hello, I'm Mohamed Dababish, a Palestinian citizen from Gaza. I have lived in Gaza since I opened my eyes to this life, never leaving it or visiting any other place. I have lived in Gaza with my small family, trying to earn our livelihood and live in peace. However, the word "peace" has no meaning in this city. Over the past 24 years, I haven't seen peace here. During these years, I have lived through five terrible and tragic wars, witnessing destruction, martyrs, and bloodshed with my own eyes.

The worst war I am currently experiencing. I don't know how I am still alive and writing these words to you. We are now on day 370 of the war. I have been displaceo four times, searching for a safe shelter after our humble home was bombed by the occupation, along with my dreams, memories, and the warmth I used to feel there.

I haven't only lost my home but also some friends and family members. I am seeking nothing but a safe place to continue my education and fulfill my dreams. There is no safe.

There is no safe place in Gaza no matter where we evacuate to; all areas in Gaza are bombed nonstop. I don't want this to be the end for me. I want to leave Gaza so I can return when the war ends as a stronger person capable of rebuilding it anew.
