Hi, I'm Ruby, and I'm reaching out because my kitten, Mimi, is in urgent need of help. Just two days ago, my once playful and energetic kitty suddenly started showing signs of distress and pain in her back legs. Now, she's unable to move them at all, and the fear of her becoming permanently paralyzed is overwhelming. It’s heartbreaking to see her in so much pain, and I feel completely helpless. We’ve already taken Mimi to the emergency vet four times which has already been a significant expense, and the doctors are telling us that she needs an MRI immediately to diagnose the cause and proceed with surgery. The cost of the MRI alone is $8,000, and there’s a very real chance she’ll need surgery, which could be another $12-15k. As much as I want to give her everything she needs, I’m struggling to cover these costs on my own. Without the proper care she needs, I will have to put Mimi down. Mimi isn’t just a pet she’s my family, she waits for me to sleep at night and wakes me up to kisses in the morning. I found her abandoned on the street and nursed her back to health, and now she’s fighting for her life again, and I will fight alongside her. But I need your help.
