If you’ve met Miko, you probably know what a sweet and special cat she is. Unfortunately, as a series of health issues has unfolded over the last couple of months, the vet discovered a nasopharyngeal mass that is obstructing her airway. After many vet visits and courses of medication, it now makes sense why she developed Horner’s syndrome and had a range of issues including respiratory difficulties recently.
The cost of the removal procedure including anesthesia, scans, and surgical operation is about $5000. This comes at a time where I can’t quite cover the full amount, so I’m listening to the recommendation of friends and family to ask for help to make up the difference from those who are willing and able. Times are tough for many of us right now, and I deeply appreciate any contribution anyone is able to make to help save Miko. She still has fight left in her and with the procedure she has a good shot at living a long, healthy life.
To anyone that sees this and can’t contribute but has shown Miko love in the past, we both love and appreciate you
