Help Ethan and Courtney recover from the flood in West Allis

Hi there! My name is Courtney, and my husband's name is Ethan. If you know us well, you know we are in a constant state of crisis and tragedy. Our son passed away in 2021, and just most recently this weekend we completely lost our home. The flooding in Wisconsin cause our home to collapse with us and our 3 animals inside. Emergency services could not come to rescue us due to severe flooding and we were forced to remain in our collapsing home until we could safely leave. The house is now gone, along with everything we own. Many people are asking how they can help, and this is what we need. We are going to need a whole new place to live so please consider donating so that way we can have a home to go to again. Our stuff can be replaced, but we need a place to live. All money will go towards a down-payment on a new home.

UPDATE:

Insurance will likely deny our claim. They have been providing us with no help and it has taken them days to even respond to me. We are already paying medical bills from our son's passing and we really need help. We just want to go home.
