Hello friends and family,
On Thursday, February 6th, Ginny was out to eat with Marty and friends when she told Marty she was not feeling well and had to leave. Ginny was then taken to the emergency room to find out she had an aorta dissection, which is a tear in the inner layer of the large blood vessel branching off the heart.
This dissection damaged Ginny’s heart. The right side of the heart is struggling to pump on its own, so she currently has a device helping it pump. Ginny was in surgery for about 13 hours. She currently has a breathing tube and is sedated but has been out of sedation on and off and able to communicate with Marty.
Ginny has a long road ahead of her as well as Marty and the boys, BUT we all know she is a fighter and will recover from this.
Please consider donating to the family to help with medical bills, food, and necessities for the family, as well as many prayers. Thank you.
