Donate to Gina's Journey Through Cancer Treatment

In some cases, it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission. My sister-in-law, Gina, has been battling Stage 4 breast cancer that spread to her bones.
For the past three and a half years, she has gone through radiation and chemotherapy. Now, to help with the pain, her doctors are having her do both treatments at the same time. It hurts me deeply to know she's in pain and not be able to help her.
Gina and my brother, Joe, were the primary caregivers for my parents when they moved to Merced. Gina worked and still managed to check on my parents at least twice a day, even when they were in two different homes. If you know Gina, you know she's a giving person who takes care of everyone else. She's the kind of person who would help a stranger in need and let them live with her.
She is always so positive, even on her hardest days. That's why I'm asking for her forgiveness after the fact—because she would never let me do this if she knew.
If you or anyone you know has fought a long battle with illness, you know medical bills add up. That's why I'm reaching out to help make a dent in the ongoing expenses for her treatments and travel. Any contribution will help make a difference. If you're not able to donate, please consider sending your prayers and positive messages to Gina and my brother.
Thank you for your support.
P.S. Please do not hold it against her that she is a Yankee fan ;)
