This is Gigi. She is 15, spunky, hilarious, and kind-hearted. A few months ago, she started feeling pain in her foot, causing her to not walk comfortably, work out, and live her life as normal. Gigi finally received a diagnosis: a tumor in her right foot, which was a giant cell tumor. Giant cell tumors are rare, aggressive, and extremely painful. In Gigi’s case, the tumor has not only caused chronic discomfort but is also threatening her ability to walk, work, and live her daily life. Surgery is necessary – and urgent – to remove the tumor and reconstruct the affected area. Without it, the tumor could continue to grow and cause irreversible damage.
The road ahead is long and uncertain, involving surgery, rehabilitation, follow-up treatments, and time away from working her first job, living her normal life, and more. The medical bills are overwhelming, and many of the expenses – including consultations, imaging, physical therapy, mobility aids, and travel for specialist care – are not fully covered by insurance.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
Gigi needs a community of support now more than ever.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Gigi’s medical costs, treatment, and recovery. Your support will help relieve some of the financial burden so she can focus on what matters most: healing, walking again, and reclaiming her future.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Gigi’s story. Spreading the word means the world to us. Your kindness, prayers, and encouragement give Gigi strength to keep fighting.
Thank you for being part of Gigi’s journey.
Let’s help her take the next step.
With love and gratitude,
Gigi’s Family
