We have been helping a friend, Carol, with some things over the last few years. Leading up to this moment, her own vehicle. With your help, we can maks that happen.

Carol has been working so hard to build her life, and recently she achieved a huge milestone—she got her driver’s license! We’ve had a wonderful team of ladies teaching her to drive, and now she’s ready to hit the road on her own.

I am donating my old vehicle to Carol completely free of charge, but it needs about $1,000 worth of repairs to be safe and reliable. The work includes a new windshield, exhaust, battery, and a replacement seat (the weld is broken). On top of that, we’d like to cover the expenses for plates and help with a few months of insurance so Carol can get on her feet without worrying about immediate costs.

Right now, Carol lives in Rensselaer, but her job is in Wheatfield. Without a car, she has been relying on faithful volunteers to get her back and forth every day. While we’ve been glad to help, the distance makes it harder to keep up. Having this vehicle fixed up will give Carol the blessing she needs—freedom, reliability, and the ability to manage her work and life more easily.
