Donate to George Netroe: A Lifeline for Stability

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read and share this story. Anyone who has been involved in EMS on the peninsula for any length of time has probably seen George Netroe on a transport ambulance at some point in time. He’s been an EMT-B for over 25 years. He loves his job and his patients. George really takes pride in his role as both patient caregiver and advocate.

Recently, George lost his life partner, Pamela LeMasters, due to unexpected medical issues. Although they were never married, they did plan well together and had purchased insurance on their loans. Unfortunately, they didn’t read the fine print.

Instead of the purchased insurance paying off all of their combined debt, they only paid off 25% of the total debt. They stated that since Pam was over the age of 70, they don’t have to pay the full amount.

Now it falls to George to pay for everything with just one income. I don’t expect to be able to fundraise the full amount; however, literally every dollar will help him continue to raise his great-granddaughter and make ends meet. Please donate whatever you can and share George’s story.
