In Loving Memory of Genaro Garza

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Genaro Garza Jr, who left this world peacefully on November 6, 2025, at 4:14 PM, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Genaro was a lifelong resident of Odessa, Texas, and a proud member of the oilfield community, where he spent his adult life working hard on pulling units to provide for his family. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and unwavering love for those around him.

Beyond his dedication to his work, Genaro had a true passion for music. He found joy and peace in playing his guitar, often filling family gatherings with beautiful melodies and laughter. His music, much like his spirit, brought comfort and happiness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Genaro is survived by his beloved children, Zandra Garza and Jeremiah Garza, along with his ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of his life.

The Garza family is now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye and laying Genaro to rest. To help ease the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses, we are asking for donations in any amount.
