Hi friends! Hi family! I hope everyone is well!

So… I’ve never done anything like this before. But here I go. I am asking for help. No … I’m begging for help. Not for myself, but for a young man that has become like a son to us. His name is Gabe Young.

Gabe experienced a devastating injury to his ankle a month ago, and like so many without insurance or savings, he has had nowhere to turn. He scraped together enough money to pay for an MRI which determined that he has multiple ligament tears that can only be repaired through surgery. His debilitating injury has also forced him to take unpaid medical leave, and with mounting medical expenses and no income he is quickly becoming buried in debt. We have been desperately trying to figure out what to do, and how to help.

We are hoping to raise just enough money to at least be able to schedule him for surgery, and then hopefully set up some kind of payment plan after that.

Gabe is 21 years old. He is kind, thoughtful, and one of the hardest working kids I’ve ever known. He will *literally* stop whatever he’s doing to help someone in need, as he has done for us many times before.

The cost of living today is brutal and unrelenting. When a young person hardly makes enough money to survive, something like this can wipe them out. He has been in pain, he has trouble sleeping, and he’s filled with anxiety, stress, and pressure, and all we want to do is help him.
