Dear friends and family,
You may know Sifu Ma Man Nam, from his work as a social worker in the Chinatown, Manhattan community or from his years of passing down the Wing Chun knowledge and experience.
Unfortunately, Sifu Ma Man Nam passed away suddenly on Friday, November 25, 2022 from a rupture in his heart. He was taken to Elmhurst hospital.
As his students, friends, and family, we have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses, which will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2022. We are reaching out to the community to raise awareness of his passing for those who knew him and were touched by his work and asking for donations if you can provide support monetarily.
On behalf of the NYC Applied Wing Chun school, we deeply thank Sifu Ma Man Nam for his years of dedication to passing down his Wing Chun knowledge and experience. We appreciate all the time, energy, and commitment he put into teaching his students without ever taking a day off.
