Back in November, I went to the emergency room with an infection on my left foot. As a diabetic, my foot couldn't be saved, so I was amputated below the knee and now I need a prosthesis. Dismemberment insurance denied my claim because limb loss was due to disease. Health insurance will cover a lot, but I still have to pay out-of-pocket costs for the prosthesis, medical bills, and physical therapy. Please help any way you can as I have all but gone through my savings and my disability payments have almost run out.
