Rachels 30th on Everest

Hello friends! I'm putting this together as a 30th birthday and general 'good job at life!' present for Rachel. She's turning 30 on Mt Everest this October (!!!) and has been working extremely hard to reach her goals.

**quick preface that Rachel does not know about this! She is fully expecting to pay for all of this out of pocket, so anything we can help with will be a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated**

To know Rachel is to love her ... and to know how much passion this woman has for traveling. My wonderful wife has been (literally) working her tuchus off for the last year in preparation to climb Everest Base Camp for her 30th birthday. She's put in countless hours training - physically, mentally and emotionally - and on top of that, Rovering (animal sitting) enough for a second full-time job in order to save money for flights and travel expenses.

Now we are 90 days away!

Rachel has everything she needs in herself to succeed :) But there are also many things that do need to be purchased to complete this journey. Rachel has been working so dang hard, I would love for us to help her out on her last leg of this journey. I have a list of items she will need - and luckily we have some big ticket items already .

I want to keep this fairly small, I realize I'm asking for help for a pretty superfluous event in the scheme of things - the world is all sorts of wild right now and I am grateful for any help. I think it's important to continue to grow and find joy where we can while doing what we can. Any extra funds (if we are lucky to have them) will go towards equipment for our new home gym (weights, flooring etc.) to help us grow strong and healthy (for us in general and for the revolution, duh).

Thank you for supporting my wonderful, talented, hard-working, dedicated, mountain-climbing wife - we love Rachel and want her to
have a SAFE and successful birthday trip!

Here is a general list of items Rachel still needs to give you a idea of what were looking for - as many of you know, nice climbing/outdoor gear aint cheap:

Wind Breaker
Trekking Pants x2
Long johns xs
Down jacket
