Hello, my name is Kelly Gamali. My sweet 3-year-old daughter, Freyja Julia, was attacked by a stray dog in a park while with her father and uncle two weeks ago. The dog bit part of her ear off and also bit her in several other places. She has been in and out of hospitals and emergency rooms getting the medical care she needs, plus a course of 5 rabies shots. She had ear reconstructive surgery yesterday at Children's Hospital LA. This is a two-part surgery, and she will need to return in 3 to 4 weeks for the second surgery. She will also need to stay home while recovering.

I am and have been a complete basket case over this. I ended up losing my job because I wanted to stay home with her. It was a brand new job, and I already missed days due to my own illness. I am asking for help because I would like to be able to stay home with my girl while she is recovering and not have to worry about looking for a new job just quite yet. I am in the middle of a divorce and have had no help financially from Freyja's father. He is struggling himself, supposedly. I am just so scared and nervous. Please and thank you for any help you can provide.

Freyja may need more ear corrective surgery in the future if this doesn't work, so we just have to wait and see. Luckily, the majority of her wounds are already healing well. We are also needing love and prayers for my girl. Thank you. Much love to all of you.
