Franklin is a sweet 14-month-old Beagle who lives with Jeff and his dad. After losing his mom over a year ago, Jeff found Franklin, an 8-week-old Beagle.

Franklin has helped to bring comfort during this difficult time.

On Monday, September 8, Franklin escaped his yard and was hit by a passing vehicle. He sustained a broken hip and a large laceration to his leg and tail.

He was rushed to the local veterinarian. After emergency care, the cost to continue with surgery and treatment is estimated at $11,000.
