Hello! My name is Frank Peterson and in late June I had multiple strokes in the cerebellum part of my brain. I thought it was just heat exhaustion or the flu but after multiple days at home trying to get better my wife had to call Paramedics to come and carry me out of the house and take an ambulance to the hospital. Again thinking it was a severe flu and dehydration not expecting what came the next 9 days in the ICU and PCU care units…. We learned it was a showering of strokes and my blood pressure was uncontrollable….. after multiple tests and scans I was told to have a bone marrow test because the doctors thought I may have a blood disorder. My spleen was enlarged and he wanted to see if the test would give more information. This biopsy showed I have a disorder called Myelofibrosis…a disorder that causes the blood cells to make clones and thicken the blood. At first we were told not cancer but now hemotologist is stating cancer…. I am asking for help… to cover my uncovered medical expenses as well as help for monthly expenses as I am not able to do the work I use to do in helping with living expenses. I have tried to claim insurance funds from two policies I carry but have been denied….. one policy is under moratorium and the other is stating the illnesses I have suffered are not qualified per definition of stroke or cancer diagnosis's….
