At Four Forty Theatre, we believe that everyone – no matter their background, age, or postcode – deserves access to high-quality, professional theatre. Whether it’s under the open sky in a local park, in a community hall, or inside a bustling school hall, our mission has always been the same: to make theatre accessible, joyful, and alive for all.

But as the cost of touring continues to rise – from fuel to accommodation to the logistics of getting our shows on the road – we’re facing increasing challenges in keeping our work affordable and inclusive.

One of the most meaningful parts of our work is performing in schools. We've seen first-hand the impact that live theatre can have on young minds – sparking imagination, boosting confidence, and opening up a world of stories. Yet, not every school can afford to bring in professional performers. With your donation, we can subsidise performances for those schools that would otherwise miss out.

Every contribution helps us keep our ticket prices low, reach further into communities, and stay true to our values: Theatre for All.
