My name is Darryl Butler, a Referee for nine years, with five of those years spent officiating at the Upward Youth League hosted at First Baptist Church (FBC) in Bethlehem, PA. I've seen firsthand the passion and energy these kids and staff bring to the winter basketball league every week. But the truth is, the basketball court is in dire need of repair. After 20 years of constant use, it's simply not safe or suitable. Imagine trying to run, jump, and call fouls on a floor that's uneven, worn, and potentially hazardous.
