Hello everyone!
5/7/2025 - Ellen's church came together and raised $1,500 to provide the rest of the funds needed. This is overwhelming and amazing and we are all so very appreciative to everyone who gave. Thank you so much to everyone!
If you've found your way to this page, it's likely that you've had the pleasure of meeting my mother-in-law, Ellen King. A rarity in this world, Ellen is a beacon of light and warmth for so many people in this world, always willing to help, support, and be there.
Several years ago, she needed a new furnace, which was improperly installed by a local contractor. In under a year, it was mostly inoperative and needed to be replaced again. Fortunately, it was still under warranty, but the labor was hefty. She found another contractor who set her up with an installment plan and correctly connected the new furnace. Everything seemed fine at first, but this past winter, the furnace turned itself off over and over again, which required further emergency repairs. In the end, she was told that her furnace itself was okay, but her ductwork was not good enough to support the new smart furnace.
Furthermore, the new furnace would not last long unless she updated the ductwork so it could properly support the modern furnace before next winter. So in order to prevent it from failing outright, she needs to have a large portion of the system reworked. It's going to cost more than she has and the work needs to be done by a professional.
Ellen will appreciate anything you can provide to help fund these necessary repairs, and even if you can't give monetarily, kind words are always welcome. Thank you so much for your consideration.
If you prefer to give in person, please contact Ellen directly.
