Hello friends, last night I heard a loud crash and stepped into outside to see that a massive limb had fallen into my car, shattering the sunroof and causing some structural damage. My car insurance tells me that they cannot help, as I only have liability insurance and not comprehensive insurance. The property management company I rent from has told me that they are also not responsible since my renters insurance policy does not cover personal belongings. I took the day off of work and took the car to an auto body shop where the repairs were estimated at around $1500. Now, I work hard but I definitely don’t make enough money to spare $1500. I am embarrassed to ask for help but multiple friends suggested that I create a GoFundMe. I would greatly appreciate and humbly accept any help.
