I want to share something personal with you, something that has reminded me how precious and fragile our health truly is. This feels very vulnerable because I’ve never shared anything like this publicly before, but sometimes taking care of our health means being open and asking for help. 

 Recently, I was hospitalized due to severe anemia. The cause is uterine fibroids, which have been leading to heavy bleeding. I needed a blood transfusion, and my doctors have recommended surgery soon to prevent this from getting worse. Going through this in a new country hasn’t been easy. In some ways, medical care is more affordable than in the U.S., which is why I decided to continue treatment here, but navigating everything on my own has been overwhelming. I started this fundraiser because every contribution will help cover my medical expenses, my upcoming surgery, and the costs of obtaining the insurance I need to continue treatment safely.
