Donate to Felix's Medical and Care Needs

Hello - Most of you know me, some of you may not. Either way, I’m prideful, and creating a GoFundMe page is hard, but when it comes to family - you put pride to the side.

Our family cat of 13 years, Felix, was taken to emergency last night after collapsing twice. After a physical exam, bloodwork, x-ray and cultures, she was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus / keratosis. I opted for in-home “care/hospice.” This requires LOVE, insulin injections, diabetic food, antibiotics, pain meds and supplies. If this approach doesn’t work, and I’ll know in the next several days, it was advised she be euthanized. Needless to say, it’s costly, and I went with the most economical & humane way.

PS - Felix is a she! Long story short, we thought she was a boy when we got her as a kitten, but she recognized her name way. Called and decided to keep the name! It’s cute!
