My name is Trish Lusk, and I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Felisha.

Felisha has been a cherished part of the Outer Banks community for over 20 years. Many of you know her from her long-time role at The Blue Point, where she’s been a steady, familiar presence—always welcoming, always thoughtful. Others may know her as a teacher’s assistant and substitute at Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church Preschool, or as the proud mom cheering from the sidelines at her sons’ soccer games.

Earlier this season, Felisha was diagnosed with breast cancer. She recently underwent surgery and is now facing what may be a long road to recovery. As she focuses on healing, she’s also navigating the financial challenges of being out of work during the busiest time of the year—a tough situation for anyone who relies on seasonal income and tips.

We’re coming together to help lighten that load. Donations will go directly toward medical expenses, ongoing treatment, and day-to-day living costs while she recovers.
