I am Amanda's sister and Felipe's aunt. He lived with me temporarily. He was my son too. I've been actively supporting Amanda during this challenging time with the funeral arrangements. The funds raised will be transferred to Amanda via Zelle to help cover the substantial expenses associated with Felipe's passing.

On Monday, August 11, Felipe's life was tragically taken and he was brutally murdered in Modesto, CA. The case is under investigation. Felipe was only 30 years old. His life was cut short on Monday.

Felipe was very well known and full of life. If he met someone, he would always start a conversation, which would often result in friendship. Felipe loved making everyone laugh and helping people. He was a jack of all trades: a handyman, mechanic, and construction worker, to name a few. His dad passed on a lot of skills to him, and Felipe didn’t take it for granted. He learned and used his knowledge and skills to help people.

Felipe loved being the center of attention. He wanted happiness around him and everyone else. He lived an adventurous lifestyle. His best vacation was spending months in San Juan de Los Lagos, Jalisco, MX, where his dad was born and grew up. He loved family traditions, gatherings, and BBQs. He loved to cook.

Felipe loved going out to eat. He loved pulling people out of their stress by inviting them to eat. His happy place was food. His favorite dishes were pizza, spaghetti, and seafood. Sometimes he just craved a bowl of beans, Mexican cheese, and salsa.

Felipe had a vision and a plan: to have a family, get married, and have children. That plan was shattered by someone out there.

Today, we find ourselves planning his unexpected funeral. We are asking for help from friends, family, and anyone who can help. Felipe deserves to be put to rest and not cut short due to funds.
