Help Rescue and Care for Abandoned Dogs in Mexico
If you know anything about me, you know that rescuing animals has been part of my life for decades — from flying rescues out of Mexico and South Korea to fostering, nursing, feeding, and rehoming countless animals in need.
This work has always been close to my heart, but lately, it’s become more necessary than ever here in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where the number of abandoned and suffering animals grows every day.
I live a simple life, working hard so I can dedicate my time, energy, and resources to these animals. When most say “I can’t,” I say “I don’t know how, but we’ll make it work”. I clean, cook, walk, play and care for them with joy — it’s my purpose. A purpose that doesn’t come with any financial gain but rather a lot of personal sacrifice. I would never change a thing. Nearly 75% of my income goes directly toward their food, medicine, vet care, and well being. Every animal in my care receives love, attention, and the chance to live the life they deserve.
Right now, I urgently need help with:
• Hudson — recently rescued after being abandoned on the highway. He needs vet care, parasite treatment, sterilization, and vaccinations.
• Chino — a puppy ready for his forever home in Oaxaca. He needs more parasite and preventative medicine as well as safe transport.
• Rickshaw Rescue — constant food for the rounds of hungry dogs I currently feed each week. A metal saw for cutting the roofs of the dog homes, as well as building material for the first three street homes.
• Ongoing care — food, medicine, and attention for the animals I care for every day.
I’m also working to build safe street dog houses — small, protected spaces where street dogs can receive food, medicine, and care. My dream is to open a small high-quality-of-life shelter, where rescued dogs can roam, play, and heal in freedom, surrounded by love and nature.
I know times are tough for many, and I never like asking — but even the smallest donation goes a long way toward saving and improving a little life.
Please help me continue this work. Every meal, every medicine, every act of care makes a difference.
