Help Dee Jackson Serve the Community Again

Hi community members, family, and friends. My name is Denetra (Dee) Jackson, as some of you may know. I was unsure if I wanted to start this fundraiser or not because I've never done anything like this before.

September 1st, 2024, one could say I was the absolute happiest business owner ever. I had a beautiful storefront with enough space to make my vision of serving my community with fresh baked cupcakes, delicious milkshakes, holding cupcake decorating classes, fundraisers, and helping take care of my family with honest hard work ethics. Unfortunately, my happiness of being in my beautiful new storefront was short-lived.

October 21st, around 1:15 pm, I received a call from a nurse tech informing me my biopsy results came back positive for breast cancer from my recent abnormal mammogram. At that moment, I was in absolute shock. Fast forward to more testing, scans, and biopsies, which resulted in 2 areas of my right breast having cancer. A few weeks later, and after much thought, I found it would be best to leave my storefront and focus on my journey ahead.

December 13th of 2024, I had a lumpectomy, and all cancer was said to be removed. Thankfully, no chemo is needed, just 16 sessions of radiation. I am feeling much better and ready to serve my community from my mobile trailer. My current trailer is rather small, and I am stepping all the way out of my comfort zone to solicit help in purchasing a bigger one. I'd like to continue doing school spirit night fundraiser events and would like to also help raise money for community groups, organizations, and definitely breast cancer patients.
